Finding Your Way: Directions and Parking

The Assuta Ashdod Hospital is a full-service hospital for the benefit of residents of Ashdod and the surrounding region, members of all HMOs.
The hospital is located at 7 HaRefu’ah St., Ashdod. The postal code is 7747629.

Telephone service is available at phone number 08-3004100. The hospital’s call routing system offers service in Hebrew, English, Russian, and Arabic.

Main Hospital Entrances:

The hospital’s main entrance is located on HaRefu’ah St. and is intended for vehicles, ambulances, and pedestrians.
Pedestrians only may enter via Menachem Begin Rd., next to the bus stops.
The western entrance is for chronic patients, employees, and supply trucks.


Hospital Parking:

Outdoor parking with some 800 parking spaces, including marked parking spaces for disabled persons.

The cost of a day’s parking is NIS 20, as set by the Ministry of Health, for 24 hours from the time of entry, with no limitation on the number of entries to or exits from the hospital during those hours, for that vehicle.

Patients, their families, and other visitors can pay to park their vehicles in the hospital parking lot.

The following groups are exempted from payment, for a single vehicle only:

  • Ambulatory dialysis patients, oncological patients (during the course of their treatment) and their companions.
  • Ambulatory patients who must visit the hospital for treatment for at least one month at a frequency of at least twice a week, starting from the beginning of their treatment.
  • Relatives of patients hospitalized for longer than 14 days (the exemption begins on the 15th day of hospitalization).
  • Parents of hospitalized premature babies.
  • Entry and exit of any vehicle within 30 minutes, for any reason.
    Persons with disabilities (who have disabled parking permits or wheelchair permits).
  • Public vehicles (taxis or ambulances) picking up or transporting patients.
    Recognized volunteer organizations and NPOs that transport patients for treatment at medical centers, after being authorized by hospital management.
  • Families, following recommendations by the hospital’s social services.
    If you belong to one of these groups, please contact the secretary in the department/institute where you are being treated, to arrange your exemption from parking fees.

On foot – via Menachem Begin Rd. and via HaRefu’ah St..

By public transit –
By train – the “Ad Halom” train station in Ashdod is located near the hospital.
Internal bus lines from the “Ad Halom” train station to the hospital – Afikim lines 21 and 22.

Buses –
Within Ashdod – Afikim lines 4 and 14.
Visitors arriving from outside Ashdod by public transit can take these lines from Ashdod’s central bus station.

The “Ad Halom” train station is located near the hospital. (We will soon provide an update regarding shuttles and transit lines to the hospital.)

There is a bus stop on Menachem Begin Rd., next to the pedestrian entrance.
