Assuta Samson University Hospital is a public hospital located in the southern port city of Ashdod. We developed an innovative digital platform that will enable researchers, companies, and inventors to gain unlimited access to the electronic medical record (EMR) in order to conduct validation, proof of concept or develop their new technology.

The Assuta Medical Sandbox (AMS) is an infrastructure that can provide simulation of real physicians, patients, and patient journey in a secure environment.

The Medical Sandbox is a mirror image of the real EMR with all the required laboratory, imaging, pathology, and video data required for patients’ care. New technologies can gain access to the Sandbox without risking the hospital core data, and retrieve the necessary data anonymized in a virtual research room.

The sandbox is a place where fresh minds are testing their unlimited ideas. Building castles and tunnels, new structures, and new dreams. With the ongoing fast changes in the medical field only a real medical sandbox can be the place to test the technologies of the future medicine.
